Camping Recycled is an initiative Vango set up to reduce the amount of great outdoor gear that goes to waste and ends up in landfill. We sell items that function as intended, but cannot be sold through our normal retail partners, such as samples, demo kit and refurbished products.
Camping Recycled is committed to minimizing how much outdoor kit goes to waste. We refurbish tents and awnings and, if they are beyond repair, they strip off every component that can be used again and use those parts to repair other tents and awnings.
Every product is tested by a specialist repair team before being listed on Camping Recycled to ensure the kit is ready to go on the adventures they were made for.
We are proud our kit is given a second chance whilst being able to offer you savings on hundreds of tents, awnings, outdoor furniture and accessories.
Recycled goods
All recycled goods are inspected for any issues by our team and refurbished to an as new standard, any notes about the item are highlighted on the product page. Example show below.
I.e. Dirty Marks, Small Patch on Flysheet etc.
Donations
Unfortunately, we do not accept donations or recycle your tents and we would recommend people donate their tents to local youth groups or look into appropriate recycling schemes.
